 There is currently legislation being put forward on behalf of merchants related to credit and debit card interchange income that would negatively impact our members. Interchange supports everything from re-issuing cards compromised by merchant data breaches to providing a call center to contact if your card is lost or stolen. If interchange were reduced and could no longer adequately support our card program, you may end up paying more to use your debit card or we may no longer be able to offer cards at all.
Take Action - Please send a message to your federal legislators TODAY urging them to oppose any legislation which would reduce interchange.

Recent reports suggest an increase in “phishing” activity. The fraud appears to be widespread and scammers are using a variety of techniques to obtain personal and financial member information. Please be aware that White Crown Federal Credit Union would never contact you asking for your personal information. Fraudsters are becoming increasingly sophisticated and this type of activity shows no sign of slowing down.
Recent phishing activities include:
- Text messages sent to members
- Computerized phone calls to members
- Fraudulent e-mail messages are being sent to appear as if they are from the credit union
